Melbourne Camp - Feb 2013

Pamela has asked me to let everyone in New Zealand know about Melbourne's upcoming camp in February next year. So here is the official announcement...

Pamela's Workshop

Pamela's workshop was a great success and we were thrilled with the turnout. Special thanks to those of you who came from out of town and ended up spending more time on the road than on the dance floor. We learned the following dances and thought it might be a good idea to share these with the rest of the country.

Lalechet O Le'hisha'er (Rafi Ziv)

The "Teach" Video

The dance to music

Shimri Nafshech (Gadi Bitton)

Pamela also taught Birkom Preda which is a lovely dance that is on the Whakatane Camp DVD / CD.

Dance with Pamela (Auckland, March 11th 2:00 - 5:00pm)

As many of you know Pamela will be in Auckland on Sunday the 11th March and she has agreed to hold a workshop for us. Below is a flier with the information on it and we would like to invite you to join us if you are able to make the journey. A .pdf version of the flier is available at the preceding link.

The $20.00 is to help cover Pamela's costs (the refreshments will be provided by Maayan). The plan is to dance for the full three hours (Pamela's idea - she has loads of energy) with dancers taking breaks when needed. We are aiming to keep the workshop as simple and fun as possible.

You'll notice on the flier that we're encouraging dancers to bring along a USB memory stick. This is so that we can make the music easily available to all participants without having to go through the pain of producing CD's. Pamela will be teaching some of the dances that are on the camp DVD / CD (from Whakatane) as we did not learn all of them last October. She is also planning on teaching a couple of 'new' dances, hence the need for a memory stick.

Obviously it would be wonderful to catch up with those of you who are able to make it.
